Finishes were selected to create a light and bright inner city haven.

A fresh coat of paint was applied throughout along with the installation of new carpet, window furnishings and lighting. New floor to ceiling storage takes advantage of the high ceilings provided by the heritage-listed shell and plantation shutters allow views from the street to be mitigated whilst encouraging airflow.

M4 Home Interior Design - living room with a brown leather Chesterfield sofa, blue velvet armchair, white and leather sling chair, a glass coffee table with timber accents, and wall art, with an open kitchen in the background.
M4 Home Interior Design - a white kitchen with built-in oven and stovetop, open cookbook on stand, kitchen towel on counter.
M4 Home Interior Design - a TV nook with white walls, a grey linen sofa with matching cushions, a small white side table with flowers, charcoal carpet, a window with shutters, a wall-mounted TV, and a ceiling fan.
M4 Home Interior Design - bedroom with a large window with shutters, a bed with white, pink, and teal pillows, and a pink chunky blanket. There is artwork on the wall, including an abstract painting and a smaller framed picture.

New furniture and artwork was selected to blend seamlessly with existing pieces.

“It’s the epitome of inner city living – spacious yet compact. Georgia was able to create multiple living spaces within the two bedroom flat by incorporating distinct dining and living areas as well as a TV nook. She also managed to bring the outside in with clever use of curtains and greenery. There isn’t a day I don’t wake up and look out into my leafy courtyard or arrive home after a long day from work and just pinch myself that this is now home,” Suzie says.
