Initial Design Consultation
Booking Terms
1 Consultation Scope
The initial design consultation is a 90-minute, in-person meeting at the nominated property. It includes a review of the space, discussion of your project goals and priorities, preliminary design advice and consideration of the potential project scope.
The consultation provides initial professional guidance and does not include detailed design drawings, specifications, written reports or formal quotations.
2 Consultation Fee & Payment
The consultation fee is $495 including GST, payable in full at the time of booking. Your appointment is confirmed once payment has been successfully processed.
3 Cancellations & Rescheduling
You may reschedule or cancel your appointment by providing at least 48 hours’ notice.
For cancellations with at least 48 hours’ notice, the consultation fee will be refunded in full.
For cancellations or rescheduling requests made within 48 hours of the appointment, a reasonable late-cancellation fee may apply, up to the consultation fee, to reflect time reserved and costs incurred.
4 Property Access & Preparation
Please ensure the property is accessible at the schedule time and that someone authorised to discuss the project is present.
Any existing plans, photographs or relevant project information may be provided ahead of the meeting, but are not required.
5 Advice & Deliverables
Advice provided during the consultation is preliminary and based on the information and site conditions available at the time.
Any subsequent design work, documentation, sourcing, procurement or project coordination will be subject to a separate scope of services and fee proposal.
6 Further Design Services
The consultation is a a standalone professional service and does not create an obligation for either party to proceed with further design work.
If you wish to continue, a separate proposal outlining the recommended scope, fees and next steps will be provided where appropriate.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any rights or remedies available under Australian Consumer Law.
